Hello and Welcome to Wildcat Creek Corgi’s. My name is Susan Erickson, and my husbands name is Alan. Back in 2021 we bought a home out in the country with five beautiful acres so I could expand my breeding program. I have been a breeder for over 15 years and I absolutely love it. I only raise healthy, sound & good temperament corgis. I have raised six beautiful children and I have eight grandchildren. All of my time is spent here at home devoted to my dogs. Breeding good quality Corgis is my passion. I love what I do, and I do it to the best of my ability.
Here at Wildcat Creek Corgi’s we are dedicated to selling healthy, happy and beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies. All of our puppies come from health tested Parents to ensure and confirm that no puppy from Wildcat Creek Corgi‘s are “ at risk “ for corgi related issues. Every breed is susceptible to certain health conditions or diseases. Corgis are no different. We treat for degenerative myelopathy (DM) And exercise induced collapse. (EIC) we also test for von Willebrand disease. (VWD1) parents of puppies are fed high-quality dog food. They run and play on 5 acres of land and our first and foremost part of the family. Their environment along with TLC makes for good sound temperaments. Parents are healthy and happy and very friendly. The process of raising good sound pups start at an early age. I will take you through a little bit of the process so you can know how your puppy is being taken care of while in my care. First few weeks 1-3 mom does most of the work. I help her by maintaining a safe and clean environment. Mom is well supported with all the TLC that she needs. From the moment they are born we begin preparing our puppies at Wildcat Creek Corgis To get them ready for adoption. Week 3-6 we start the socialization process by introducing the puppies to new environments new enclosures and introducing them to people and other pets. We like to incorporate lots of different objects for them to get used to along with crazy sound! Week six I start the potty training as a group. Weather permitting we go outside and trying to use the potty outside on the grass. On the days weather is not permitted to go out I use puppy pads to teach them. Week 7-8 Lots and lots of TLC and building on what they have learned. At seven weeks we take our trip to the vets office for a thorough check up. At eight weeks of age they are ready to go to their forever home and my goal is to raise puppies for adoption that are fully prepared to start their new life and adventure with youwill
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions.
